The International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) is a non-profit association of which Greater Seattle Insurance Professionals (GSIP) is a member of. It was originally conceived to offer insurance education to women in the insurance industry. Today we are among the top associations that offer quality insurance education to both men and women in Seattle and across the country. IAIP has developed over 20 programs to meet the needs of local Seattle insurance professionals in an effort to further their careers.
IAIP (and, GSIP) are dedicated to assisting their members in furthering their professional insurance careers as well as educational development. Active participation as a GSIP Officer or Board Member is an opportunity to hone leadership and career skills.
GSIP was founded in 1936. Members range in age from 20-80 and in careers from entry-level positions to owners of agencies and executives within major corporations. Membership is open to anyone employed in the risk and insurance field. Individuals may join the local association or become a member-at-large.
In keeping with our mission, the GSIP is:
